Becoming Like Jesus

We desire for our characters to become more like Jesus. We seek to grow as followers and then to lead others to be his followers.

Spirit Led

We seek to be obedient to God through the directing of the Holy Spirit

Prayer

We believe that prayer is one of our primary ways of relating to God, and is a powerful tool through which God works.

The Kingdom of God

We seek Gods rule in our lives and to see the signs of the kingdom signs wonders and miracles

Servant Leadership

In following Jesus’ example we see leadership as serving one another. We seek to exercise authority with humility selflessness and grace.

Naturally Supernatural

To see real supernatural works of God without hype, emotionalism. We also seek Gods leading through excellent rational thinking.

Culturally Relevant

We aim to develop an atmosphere of ease and to speak and act in ways to which our culture can respond positively.

Accessibility

We aim to remove all barriers to God except the cross.

Integrity

It is important to us to speak the truth, deal honestly and live uprightly.

Death and Resurrection of Jesus

We desire the full affect of Jesus’ death and resurrection in our lives, and the outworking of God’s judgement and mercy.

Worship

We believe we were created to worship God, and it is one of our primary ways to get to know him.

The Bible

We believe in the authority and accuracy of the bible, that it contains everything needed for doctrine and lifestyle. All practices must be directly or indirectly sanctioned in the bible.

People

We value individuals however they come and want to encourage them to become the people God intends.

Unity

We seek the unity in the Body of Christ by unity of spirit rather than uniformity, and to honour other Christians.

Respect

We aim to build the church through maintaining mutual respect, open communication, co-operation, believing and speaking the best about each other.
